Louis Choi was selected for Academic All American.

and Chris Mohapp were selected for EPSLA Senior All Star Game.

Joey Sankey, Steve Oppenheimer and Shane Sturgis made the PYLA U15 Team (A Philadelphia Youth All-Star Team) They will be competing in 3 Tournaments in July including 1 in Long Island. Way to Go GUYS!
Brendan Lee and Ryan Sankey have made the FCA Harrow/Outback National Lacrosse team. Two Rebel players made the team out of only four from the state. Thirteen tryouts were held in ten states for the team which will compete a week long five state/nine game series that will start in Baltimore and end in Rochester NY. ( July 30 - Aug 5 )

March 7, 2006 -Two More College Bound Rebels
Greg Chaples was recruited to join Manhattan College lacrosse. Tom Fagan has accepted admission to Loyoloa College in Maryland.

March 3, 2006 -Athletes Giving Back Rebels
Many Rebel Players showed up to help St. Paul's set up for the annual carnival.  Their help made this organization's primary fundraiser a breeze.

December 17, 2006 -Two More College Bound Rebels
Jack Oppenheimer was recruited to join Quinnipiac University lacrosse.  Louis Choi will be attending Harvard University.

Bill Hack selected as one of four goalies from 28 teams for the 2006 Fall Face Off Tournament Team.

November 28, 2006 - Dan Mohr signs at Mount Saint Mary's
Dan Mohr signed with Mount Saint Mary's yesterday. On hand were his parents and his Rebel Coach Harry Sankey to celebrate the day. More information can be found in the articles written up in The Reporter, The Intelligencer, The Souderton Independant.

November 19, 2006 - Rebel takes 2nd place in Toyota Fall Faceoff's Red Bracket
Over 30 teams attended the Marlyand Fall Faceoff this weekend, with teams coming from far away as Texas and Florida to compete against some of the best teams in the nation. Saturday's early loss to the event winning Maryland Crabs put Rebel in the Red Bracket for Toyota Fall Faceoff. Rebel held on to solid wins in every game until the final loss to Crossroads in a dramatic overtime battle.


November 12, 2006 - Rebel undefeated in Mount St. Mary's Outback Tournament
On this muddy, rainy and cold day Rebel Elite went undefeated for as long as the field conditions held out for play. The players didn't seem to mind the mud at all!
November 5, 2006 - Rebel wins the University of Delaware Boathouse Challenge
Rebel Elite had a dominating day in this tournament, scoring 74 points with only 4 points scored against them in their 6 games of the day. In the two playoff games, they held both teams to shutout victories. With teams showing up from many states, it was great to see the local PA teams make such a strong showing with the for final four teams consisting of Rebel, Twist 1, Twist 2 and Abington.

November 4, 2006 - Special Olympics
Sixteen Rebel Elite players volunteerd their day at the Villanova Special Olympics: J. R. Borneman, Greg Chaples, Dan Gordan, Tom Fagan, Tim Guckavan, Brendan Lee, Owen McDonnell, Colin McPoyle, Chris Mohapp, Steve and Jack Oppenheimer, Mike Potts, Paul Reutemann, Brandon Rose, Ryan and Joe Sankey, Paul and Muffin Oppenheimer, and Coaches Guckavan and Sankey. Thanks go to the Wildcats for inviting us to help and meet these athletes who performed with skill and joy.
Oct 29, 2006 - Rebel Elite wins Haverford Fall League
Rebel Elite A team wins the Haverford Fall Leauge Tournament in this weekend's playoff against the other top seeds: Abington, Haverford and Ridley. Great competition all eight weeks from all teams involved!
Oct 28, 2006 - Two Great Additions  
Two strong new midfielders have joined Rebel Elite:  Paul Renneisen from CB South and David Pearson from Kutztown.

September 6, 2006 - Warwick Day
Rebel Elite had many volunteers helping out for Warwick Day. Tim Guckaven, Bill Hack, Cory Hojnacki, Brandon Lee, Owen McDonnell, Colin McPoyle, Chris Mohapp, Jack and Steve Oppenheimer, Joe and Ryan Sankey, Mike Sheehan, and Coaches Guckavan and Sankey all helped out making this community fundraiser run smoothly.

August 6, 2006 - United Way
Ryan Sankey and Coach Harry Sankey volunteered at the United Way Triathalon in North Wildwood NJ.
July 23, 2006 - Rebel Elite one of the Top Four teams at Lax Evo

Rebel Elite played some great competition at Lacrosse Evolution in West Chester this summer and took fourth place out of the 24 teams attending. Rebel Elite had four players named to the all star team including Bill Hack, Dan Mohr, Jack Oppenheimer, and Ryan Sankey. Congratulations!


May 21, 2006 - New Additions to Rebel Elite
Eight area lacrosse players are welcomed into the Rebel Elite lacrosse team. The new players are:
♦ two from Germantown Academy - Steve Oppenheimer, Goalie and Reed Marko, Midfield
♦ three midfielders from North Penn High School - Jamison Anton, Paul Reutemann, and Harry Stokes.
♦ junior midfielder from Coatesvillle High School, Mike Potts
♦ two defenseman, freshman Cory Hojnacki from CB South and sophomore Jamie Nase from Souderton HS

March - May 2006 - Rebel Players & Coach hit the press!
♦ Bill Hack was recently mentioned in US Lacrosse Magazine for making Top 40 University at Top Star Lacrosse Camp. Also, he was named Player of the Week on 4/20/06 by the Bucks County Patriot.
♦ Harry Sankey, Jr. was mentioned as a Defense Headliner for Widener University in an article about the top 20 college Lacrosse teams.
♦ Greg Chaples was labelled "Mr. Fix-It" for his game performance by The Reporter in a recent article.
♦ Rebels versus Rebels when South played GA was talked about in an Intelligencer article talking about the great play by Hack, Mohapp and Oppenhemer !
♦ Dan Mohr got reported to be part of a "lethal combination" in the Souderton Independant newspaper.

March 13, 2006 - Team Captains
The following Rebel Elite Players have been named captains of their high school teams: Ian Brooks, Louis Choi, Dan Gordan, Chris Mohapp, and Dan Mohr.

March 6, 2006 - Integrity in Action
Rebel Elite was represented by Greg Chaples, Louis Choi, Chris Mohapp, Jamie Nase, Matt Sheehan, and Matt Simone in volunteering their Friday and Saturday to help the Warminster Pre-School set up and break down for their primary fundraiser, Fun Day. Rebel players made the heavy lifting jobs tremendously easier for this organization that serves the day care and preschool needs of over 350 children.


2/18/2006 - WINGS TOURNAMENT CHAMPS
Rebels take home the 2005 WINGS TOURNAMENT trophy on February 18.  . Nearly every game was a knuckle-biter, great showing by all teams involved! Rebels was be honored at the March 4th Wings game as the TEAM OF THE GAME for their accomplishment.


February 12, 2006 - Undefeated in Winter League!
The USTC Winter League ends with Rebels going undefeated for all 8 games. The final record now stands at 7-0-1.

January 21, 2006 -
Doylestown Library Volunteers
Bill Hack, Louis Choi and Matt Simone came out to represent Rebel Elite by volunteering their day to finish up the work at Doylestown Library. Thanks to their efforts, the project has been completed at the library.

January 16, 2006 - Community Service
Four Rebel Elite Players donated their day off in support of Martin Luther King Community Service Day helping reorganize and clean books at the Doylestown Library. Rebel Integrity in Action by Louis Choi, Greg Chaples, Chris Mohapp and Owen McDonell
